When you submit a form on this site (valuation, buyer inquiry, contact, or newsletter), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, and property details, along with your consent to be contacted.
The newsletter may also be offered through Facebook or Instagram lead forms. If you use one of those forms, the information you submit there (your name, email, area preference, and consent) is shared with Jonathan Wallace and stored in Follow Up Boss, the customer relationship system we use.
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, provide the services you request (home valuations, listing alerts, market updates), and follow up about buying or selling real estate. We process leads through Follow Up Boss and related tools.
By submitting a form with the consent checkbox, you agree to receive the electronic messages described next to that checkbox. You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing jonathan@faristeam.ca. We process unsubscribe and consent-withdrawal requests within 10 business days.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (for example Follow Up Boss, email, and form processing) and as required by law.
This site uses a visitor tracking pixel provided by Follow Up Boss, our CRM, which records pages viewed and links a returning visitor to an existing contact record where one exists. It does not load until you accept the cookie notice shown on your first visit. If you decline, it is suppressed and stays suppressed. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and you can reverse it by clearing your browser storage for this site.
This site uses Google Analytics and a Meta (Facebook) Pixel, both loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-P36FJB8L). We use them to measure visits and for ad measurement. Google Analytics is also used to measure signups, such as when a form is submitted. The Meta Pixel records a page view. It loads with the page through Tag Manager, separate from the cookie notice that gates the Follow Up Boss pixel. Meta's handling of Pixel data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
This site also uses Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how visitors use our pages, including clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and session recordings, so we can keep improving the site. Clarity uses cookies, and the data it collects is processed by Microsoft. Form fields and text you type are masked by default. Microsoft's handling of this data is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The site script also loads Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages visitors read. Before you make a choice on the cookie notice, or if you decline, that Google Analytics tag runs in a consent-denied mode: it sets no cookies and sends only anonymous, aggregated signals that cannot identify you. If you accept, it may set analytics cookies so that return visits and page paths can be measured. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google privacy and terms for partner sites.
The site script also uses Google Ads conversion measurement on thank-you pages, so that a message, valuation request, or newsletter signup can be counted against the ad that led to it. Like the site script's Google Analytics tag, it runs in a consent-denied mode until you accept the cookie notice: no cookies, only an anonymous, aggregated count. If you accept, it may set a conversion cookie so that a visit from an ad can be matched to the request you sent. We do not use this Google Ads tag for remarketing or personalized advertising.
